Nasir Baby Logo - Nasal Rinse for Infants and Children

NASIR BABY® is a CE-marked medical device designed and patented for nasal hygiene in infants aged 0 to 3 years.

It is intended for:

  • to facilitate nasal cleansing in cases of nasal congestion caused by the common cold, sinusitis, and allergic rhinitis;
  • To promote the gradual removal of nasal secretions, including as a preventive measure.

Thanks to the pediatric irrigation tip made of soft material, irrigation is quick and comfortable; the tip is designed to reduce excessive pressure from the syringe, allowing for a continuous flow of the solution.

Instructions for Use

  1. Carefully remove the first protective wrapper from the bag;
  2. Warm the bag containing the solution to approximately 35°–38°, by immersing it in hot water, placing it on a radiator, or exposing it to the sun. Then remove the protective cap by unscrewing it and snap off the cone.
  3. Use the syringe to draw the solution from the bag.
  4. Attach the Nasir Baby dispenser to the syringe, making sure it is fully inserted.
  5. Gently press the syringe plunger to check the flow rate of the solution.
  6. Place the anatomically designed nasal spray tip into the upper nostril and press the plunger to allow the solution to flow into the nasal cavity, keeping the mouth open throughout the treatment until the solution has come out the other side; for newborns, given the difficulty in keeping their mouths open, it is recommended to turn their head to the side and position it lower than their shoulders (as shown in this video).
  7. It is recommended that you blow your nose after rinsing your nose.
